SCOTT PALMER, born in 1968 in the town of Rochester, N.Y., is an internationally recognized photographer and published author. Scott’s father, (retired from the Kodak company in Rochester) passed on the passion for capturing light through the lens, to his son at a very young age. It could be said Scott was born with a camera in his hands.
Scott began his working career as a photojournalist for several newspapers and has been in publishing/media for most of his life, then branching out into radio broadcasting and New Media enterprises.
The father of, “…two beautiful, brilliant daughters…”, Scott knew it was time to return to his roots when they were young and open his own photo-studio in Nashville, TN. Here, Scott carried on his passion for photography and production by providing promotional and album cover shots for some of the music industry’s top performers. During that time, Scott even took on the role of music producer for fledgling performers.
Now a recent resident of the Washington, D.C. area, Scott is looking forward to new possibilities and opportunities to pursue. A new studio is in the works and Scott is looking forward to new clients, commissions and concepts.
